Of Handmade is the realization of a complete knitwear brand, created in a conscious way. It was born with a great Mission: being sustainable and contemporary at the same time.
Of Handmade supply chain is entirely focused in Italy, from raw materials (using only natural yarns) to logistics.
The brand has just started to use Clo3d software to create prototypes and to not use materials for the development process.
It has a good circular economy approach: knitwear waste is combined with linen waste to realize new pillows and blankets for the home collection.
The brand has developed an internal policy about:
- raw materials in order to introduce more responsible fibres into their collection
- using of packaging (from single use to re-use)
- circularity approach
The company has a strong relationship with local school in order to do regular internship for students and allow them to learn the art of knitwear collection development.
Of Handmade is member of Amnesty International through its owner.
The brand gives customers usual washing care info to preserve the items longer and better.
