Maqu Store& Studio runs exclusively on Green Planet Energy.

The brand has an ethical code which includes sustainable issues. 

It provides extra service for free in work life (ex. parking for bike, transportation for free to reach the office, lunch meal for free...)

Maqu allows smart working to its employees depending on their needs. It recognizes paid free time to its employees for their private life. 

The brand organizes webinars or meetings about sustainable topics in order to educate its employees. 

Its value chain from raw materials to production is almost completely focused in Perù. From packaging to logistics it is completely focused in Germany. 

Its production is made in Lima and in Berlin. 

Since 2018 the label has managed to increase the certified organic cotton use to 100%. Moreover, it uses natural fabrics like Lyocell/Tencel and Hemp.

About packaging the brand places all the pieces wrapped in recycled paper and puts them together in a recycled singlebox. Its tape is made of 100% paper.

Maqu's items are shipped plastic-free in recycled paper cartons using the GoGreen option to offset transport CO2 emissions.

The brand reinvents old pieces and old stock into new pieces or details for new products.

The development activity is made with materials already in stock in order not to waste new materials.

The brand has visited almost all of its suppliers in order to be fully aware of the working conditions of its workers. 


At the Maqu Store & Studio in Berlin the brand offers to its customers the opportunity to bring  back their items in order to be repaired for free. 

In all its hang tags there is an explanation of how to take care of the item. 

About community the brand helps children in schools in Condoroma, Perù. With every jumper ordered, the brand donates 5% of the proceeds to the school to purchase school materials for the children.
