Tizz & Tonic is an independent intimates brand for women which combines bold colours with delightful prints by offering 6 cuts in sizes XXS-XXL and made-to-order bralettes. All of the Tizz & Tonic production is made by a small female team.
The goal of the brand is to use only certified organic cotton and plant-based textiles by assuring comfort, colorful design and sustainability at the same time.
Its raw materials come from a GOTS certified factory in India, while the production is made in its small studio in the heart of Bremen, Germany.
The brand uses digitally printed textiles and modal fabrics which require much less water than conventional fabrics.
Besides using organic cotton and plant-based textiles, for the packaging the brand refers to https://packfromnature.lt/ for its bags, while its tissue paper comes from Poland https://rbeco.pl/.
Tizz and Tonic packaging bags made mainly from corn starch (PLA) and PBAT.
Every month the brand offsets the costs of all its employees by paying for carbon offsetting.
Tizz and Tonic allows all its employees to feel safe and take care of themselves physically and mentally. It encourages everyone to make themselves feel comfortable and to take breaks, go for walks, stretch at any time they are feeling they need to.
In its German Studio the team encourages the further education of its workers by providing them the opportunity to take a further education break in order to stay active in the mind and relevant in the field of fashion and sustainability.
The brand carries out carbon offsetting practices.
Moreover, the brand finds a use for every scrap of fabric and works hard to make sure it all gets used or donated (kindergartens, social projects, independent crafts, animal shelters) so that nothing gets thrown away.
The brand gives to its customers wash and care tips.
